Market square in Września is just a concrete runaway without any trees or green grass to spend time in shadow during hot days. They don't have any decent cafeteria here, only beer bar. It's fine for performances of marching bands, but generally it's quite empty and sad place.

Some old buildings still waiting for new life but it's nice place

I was only in the market and parish. Nice place for a quick walk. You can feel the atmosphere of the partition period and the famous students' strike in defense of the Polish language. It is a pity that the cafes were closed then you could spend more time. Very interestingly lit town hall.
