One star is one too many. I've just read opinions about the way Global treats their customers, how they steal from them and cheat and make them sign false protocols. Nobody, however, mentioned how this company behaves if there is a technical problem and a help of assistance needed. Well, even worse. We had a flat tire (not a big issue one could think), we replaced it on the side of the road on the spare one (the little one, not the full one) and then manage to drive another 200 kilometers with 5 people in the car. I call assistance following morning and was told nothing could be done that day as it was Sunday but they will call me Monday morning. Nobody called, I received a sms with an address and phone number to the closest "partner in their net" so I could drive there and replace the tire. I checked the localisation and it appeared it was over 80 kilometers away. I called them and was told they didn't have tires for my car (so it is clear that Global employee didn't check anything, they just sent me some address and that was all of their "help" and it took them 24 hours to come to this fabulous "solution"). So I called back to Global. Long story short it took me about 15 phone calls; Global employees were telling me that it was assistance job to resolve this problem and that should've been new car delivered to me; assistance people were telling me that a new car is not an option and there it is Global job to deliver working car to me because I rented it from them. I was told every time:"we will call you back in 15 minutes" and than 30 minutes later I had to call them. Finally (after I almost lost it and had all day completely destroyed ) tires were found. I went there the following day. Workers of vulcanization place told as that all 4 tires had to be replaced because one more was damaged as well and it was dangerous to drive; and besides the car had 2 summer and 2 winter tires which is illegal to drive and this car shouldn't been rented at all. So they called to Global for permission to change these tires as well. It took 3 and half hours (and my 3 phone calls and few of the workers as well) for the company to give their permission for something what had to be done anyway as the car was roadworthy. After we came back I complained in the Warsaw Airport office and even been lucky enough to speak to country sales manager who happen to be in this office at this day. He took all details, times of all my phone connections with his firm and promised to contact me in 2 days because a compensation should have been given to us (that was his own idea). I never received any phone call or email from anybody of Global. I sent my email to this manager (he gave me his business card) and in return an email from customer service came (not from this manager) that they couldn't help me because I didn't provide them with my rented car registration number. I managed to have my tire changed because I'm Polish and I could speak Polish by the phone. What about people who can't? That was only flat tire problem what if there is more serious issue?
