The library is located in the building of the baroque synagogue from the 17th century. Inside there are beautiful sailing vaults. Until 1985, there were warehouses of the Communal Cooperative. The building was restored in 1990 but is still in a deplorable condition. Currently, renovation works are taking place outside. Lack of any more detailed information about the history of the building and the Jewish community in Tarnogród.

Library in the old synagogue building. It's worth seeing live.

The best library. There is also an original scissors museum and many other interesting things. First of all, you can find every book here and even if there is no desired copy, the friendly staff will recommend an even more interesting book.
