The glider in Żernica Wyżna is undoubtedly an interesting object but rather mainly for die-hard aviation fans. For the average tourist it will not be anything special. A few kilometer road leading to the glider is a combination of gravel and perforated asphalt. At the end a very nice but short gravel driveway and a landing pad with the building. Unfortunately, even from this place there is no nice view of the area. This place seems lonely and I had the impression that you can rarely meet anyone here. To sum up, a special trip to this place to see the glider itself is rather pointless, unless you want to see a nicely renovated church located nearby.
