Pensjonat Ostoja w Gruszkach

I recently spent my holidays here from December 26th to the 28th and it was great. We greatly appreciated the hospitable owner, Ms. Renata, as well as the delicious breakfast and dinner all three days, and we were not disappointed with our stay. I stayed in a room with two single beds and a bathroom with a bath instead of a shower. The room was well maintained and very clean. The appearance of the common rooms and the dining area was very good. Fit the atmosphere perfectly! Ms. Renata was always on top of everything - making sure the food was ready and delicious, cleaning the rooms and surrounding areas, and making sure all the guests were comfortable. Ms. Renata even prepared us the fireplace to roast kielbasa when it was raining. I highly recommend staying here. I wish I stayed here more days but I will make sure to come back soon. Great experience!

If someone did not want to read the entire opinion, I will briefly say that the owner LIES I do not know who is writing these good reviews, but I was fooled and booked a room by phone for one night. I didn't ask for the price and if the room is en suite, but such good reviews I thought it must be great. I even thought with my wife that we would stay there longer and I booked a room for one more night by phone. But now I ask the owner if the room has a bathroom and there is a short silence in the receiver, but the owner assured me that the room is with a bathroom (I did not ask for the price). This hesitation bothered me, but I think it was probably about peace, whether it would be free. I still have 480 km to go and my dream vacation will become a reality. When we were there, the owner (probably Mrs. Renata) took us to the room (rather to the nursery, because it is very small), I ask, where is the bathroom? and the owner says: opposite, because you also use it, rents a room next door. But by telephone you assured me that she was en-suite. To which the owner replies that she said that the bathroom is separate and that she wrote it down even that she said so. THE OWNER LIES !!! He'll say anything to get the client. I didn't have time to try this wonderful and delicious cuisine, which I read about in the reviews, because we gave up the room. BE WARNING, ask carefully about the conditions and also write down what the owner tells you.

Simply the best cuisine in the area! A cordial atmosphere and a great location.

Location of the guesthouse in a very quiet place on the border of the forest, next to a wonderful meadow with a viewing tower. Fresh, truly Podlasie food, homely atmosphere. Thank you, Mrs. Renato for a nice stay, Ania & Marcin

Dear Mrs. Renata, Thank you very much for a wonderful long weekend spent in Gruszki. Hospitality and kindness on your part for 6+. Your breakfast and lunch is a world championship. And the views, the location of the guesthouse itself .... the name speaks for itself .... peace, quiet and an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling. We are coming back in October!
