Hospitality to self-denial. Always friendly. The food plentiful until "necessary". Always reminded me of my East Prussian noma, whose constant saying was: take still young, is there also, otherwise starve me amend. Eating at a long table, guests and owners, as before. Fish from the lake, meat from the forest - the owner is a hunter - and mushrooms in autumn. In the evening, after and after dinner, stories from the past of both the Polish and the German guests (former or grandchildren) who came here. There is a lake, formerly called Nautsch Lake, in which you can swim, below the farm meadows. The forest begins right behind the courtyard and it is not far to the chanterelles. But you have to know the places. I know, but don't say where now. This can be addictive. We were definitely there 10 times with my family, sometimes twice a year.
