OUR IMPRESSION IN THE BEGINNING:
What a wonderful hotel! I have not experienced such a high room/hotel standard since 2006 when I stayed at a remade mansion hotel outside of London. However, hotel Krasicki is better than we could have imagined. It's a 4-star hotel of course, since it doesn't have air condition, but the airfans are more than enough. And we got extra airfans without any problems. The junior suite is amazing. Living in a room like this with high ceiling really makes you feel like a king. And the food is amazing too. Breakfast, lunch and ala carte in the evening. We are very satisfied, counting the first two days at least. We will be back soon, but next time we're taking a whole apartment for ourselves.
OUR IMPRESSION TOWARDS THE END:
The first two days were really great. After all, the hotel is beautiful, not doubt about that. And the food at the restaurant was amazing. Plus, the museum was beyond amazing, and the pool was great too. We had the Junior Suite for a room, and it too was almost perfect. Thus, the hotel definitely deserves four stars. But for a fifth star, it needs to improve several things. Therefore, as I said, the first two days were really great, but then we started to observe certain things. For example, we tried out the massage, but unfortunately, we were not asked whether we wanted a male or a female massage therapist. The massage was really good, and professional. Nevertheless, they should have asked about whether each of us wanted a male or a female massage therapist, as a courtesy to the client. In the restaurant, one waitress was amazing. She was polite, she asked if we liked the food, and you could feel that she cared about the people dining there. On the third day, we got a waitress that did the opposite. Me and my family, we observe these things, and we are always warm and kind, and we like when people are the same way towards us. This new waitress was not. Later that day, in the bar, the male waiter who prepared drinks, was also great. You could see that he was stressed, and had a lot to do, but nevertheless, he was kind and did all the work without complain. The same new waitress together with a yet another new waitress just stood there, doing nothing. Drying some glasses, at one point, but otherwise doing nothing to help out the male waitress. Thus, the female waitress in the restaurant and the male waitress in the bar were amazing. The other two female waitresses should be fired. Their lack of knowledge and skill about how to make this hotel experience amazing is why this hotel does not have five stars, and why it might drop to three stars in the future. Thus, the hotel rooms and the food was amazing, but some of the employees need to learn how to be around normal clients who are kind to them and expect the same courtesy in return, and how to work as a team because standing around doing nothing while one person does all the work does not look good for a professional hotel. Last but not least, we had 25-30 degrees Celsius in the hotel, all while the room, as amazing as it was, did not have air conditioning. We got air fans, and they worked just fine, but still... For a fifth star, air conditioning is necessary.
Beautiful hotel with loads of history. Great amenities, excellent food and lovely service. A gem that can’t be missed. Overall wonderful experience.
High standard hotel. The building itself is worth exploring. Great historic atmosphere. Well situated pretty much in the center of town. Check out the bishop's castle next door. Overall this hotel is a great place to stay.
Very well renovated hotel with good materials. Good breakfast. Historical building. Dinner with large buffet. Free parking. Everything was really fine. Just be aware to don't book your room close to the reception/entrance as it has a very noisy ventilation on the roof for air condition purpose and because of that you will not be able to sleep with an open window. Owner should reconsider to insulate the ventilation. This is the reason why I must give a low rates.
Fantasy scenery.
