For several days in the old town of the city by Jedlicka there is a figure of a robber, referring to the legend about the creation of the Kowar coat of arms. The statue sitting in front of the town hall in Kowary can be safely described as a collective work. The idea, design and wooden prototype of the leader of a band of robbers who, according to legend, once plundered Kowary, and which only a blacksmith opposed, is the work of Werner Pietrzyk - the master chisel from Kowary. The casting and finishing of the figure were made by the Wrocław artist Grzegorz Łagowski - the creator of a large part of Wrocław dwarfs. The stone on which the robber is sitting was given to the city and placed by Paweł Słowik, and the assembly was done by a team of local stonemason Edward Urbański. The spring of Jelonek
