I wasn't expecting such a great experience when looking for attractions near Szklarska Poręba, this place is definitely worth visiting, the underground route is not very long but well prepared and uncovers the hard work of mineworkers in the past. Big thanks to the guide who is very charismatic and tells the placr history in a passionate way. There is a free parking and the adult ticket price is 14PLN

At first sight, it didn't looked very impressive. But once our guide started the tour, it was really nice. He told it with a lot of passion! The story was very clear. There was space to ask some questions. There is also a touristic route to walk, I would follow it. It's a nice tour.

We arrived and thought in the middle of the meadow would be a boring lecture on theory. There was a young man standing in front and invited us inside. First safety and helmet and a short introduction. After that, went underground for almost an hour through narrow streets and lots of information. Seeing everyone up close was simply fantastic. Over 400 years of history that was only discovered since 2010 and has been accessible since 2013. A mix of history, mining, geology and chemistry. Very interesting and much better than you can imagine. Small downside, very difficult to find. Otherwise highly recommended.

A good guide is 85% of the success of such a route. Here it is. I fully recommend this place. Fun for kids, and a lot of knowledge, even for adults. I recommend !!!
