It's been a long time since I was with my friends in such a place as Granite Heart of Poland. We came here by KD train to take advantage of a change on the way to Bolków. The railway station in Strzegom, its appearance is a substitute for what you will see in the very center of the city. To the bus station it is a kilometer away. , having 12 minutes, after the traditional delay of the KD train (greetings to the Marshal of the Lower Silesia Voivodship), rather no chance, t continuing the journey by Polbus to the Bolków Castle. Back to the mother, not better, we were left to explore the dubious beauty of this heart. Only the mayor and city councilors know why the bus station is not located next to the railway station. We invite these people to take advantage of the train-bus connection on the route I just gave, perhaps it will expand the horizons of thought, which we sincerely wish you!

This monument is a great attraction for everyone who likes and appreciates the film and literary output of Jan Himilsbach. A must see when visiting Strzegom. This monument together with other granite sculptures creates an interesting atmosphere of the city.

Monument to the Polish naturist actor Jan Himilsbach. Known from many movies, playing in a duet with Zdzisław Maklakiewicz. Why in Strzegom, it was here in the nearby quarries that Jan worked before he became recognizable. The monument stands in the town square.
