A very historical place worth visiting.
The cemetery is located east of Rydzyn, next to an asphalt road. It is clearly visible; until today, most of the concrete fence posts and a few steps leading to the entrance have been preserved. Its beginning probably dates back to the end of the 18th century. Rydzyna was founded in 1791, with the arrival of 21 settlers in the village.
Visitors greet a large wooden cross. At the cemetery, we find dozens of tombstones with various forms and metrics. Near the entrance there are small monuments from the turn of the 19th and 20th century, mostly sandstone. Next we will see tombstones from the interwar period, from the 40's and post-war. Preserved inscriptions are written in German and Polish. Most of the buried people carry the surname Pudrycki.
Particular attention is paid to the tombstone with a preserved medallion with the image of a little two-year-old girl. In the cemetery there is also a small quarters covering the ashes of soldiers from the First World War. The necropolis is still open; the last burials were made in the 21st century
