Dziadoszański (dziadoszycki) stronghold - a Slavic tribe that lived in Central Nadodrze before the emergence of the Polish state. It was famous for its battle and played an important role in the wars with Germany during the time of Bolesław the Brave, especially in 1015. The stronghold was investigated mainly by German archaeologists, who assumed that the stronghold functioned from the 7th to the beginning of the 9th century. In German times the status of a monument of the past took place. At present, the settlement is not secured or marked in any way. There is also no marked way to it or a sign informing about the nature of the place. Only a dozen or so years ago, the clearly visible profile of the ramparts of the stronghold and the Maidan is unfortunately becoming more and more blurred. It is estimated that the hillfort is an oval-shaped structure and its dimensions are 25 x 40 m. Researchers assume that the stronghold was surrounded by a 3 m wide grate embankment built on a low earth embankment. On its outer side there was an embankment reinforced with stones and a moat.
