Perfect building.It is so old and beautiful.When you enter inside it fells like you are in the old ancient times. Nowadays it is so hard to find that kind of buildings.It impress your emotions and.Inside the building all of the gadgets that you use are modern technology
On the main axis there is a semicircular avant-corps covered with a dome, which is currently slightly different from its original state, among others it is shorter, more squat and has different window openings. The façade was once decorated with 6 sculptures located on the (then copper) dome: a Cistercian, a Teutonic knight, a burgher from Salzburg and a Dutchman, and peasants from Westphalia and Swabia - "apostles carrying German civilization to the east" (removed only in 1945). The main hall with a glass roof, lined with multicolored marble and a gallery running around it, is noteworthy. Inside the hall there is a bust of Karol Marcinkowski.
On the façade there is a plaque commemorating the daring action of Poznań scouts who, in 1940, hung the Polish flag on the dome of the building that was then the police headquarters.
An important place on the university map of Poznan.
