A great university. Alma Mater many great artists.

The best university in which I had the opportunity to learn. Anyone who passes hard exams has no chance of getting dissatisfied, unless it is some complete purring. Oblrzymi plus for the program of free studies -> a huge selection of the studio, unprecedented freedom in planning and studying what really interested man. Positive staff, relatively small groups and a very valuable individual approach. The educational offer for artistic colleges positively surprised me, as did the usefulness of the acquired knowledge, eg from design studios. Relatively grassed dean's office, whose employees are cultured and do not avoid responsibility / produce excuses when something is wrong, only to find a solution to the situation. Absolute denial of the administration and didactic horror of UaM.

It was built in 1839 according to the design of the Berlin architect August Soller. For many years it was the seat of the Credit Land - one of the oldest Polish credit institutions in the Prussian partition. Currently, the building is used by the Academy of Fine Arts
