A disaster. At least in the context in which this place is presented on the Internet. As a wedding photographer, I was encouraged by photos, history, location, etc. to travel (150 km) to this place. The plans were ambitious. However, after arriving, it turned out that it is simply a more well-kept, private farm. A barn, a cowshed, a few goat horses, a nice piece of court and that's it. There is no question of a manor house, unless an ordinary farmhouse receives this name after erecting 4 concrete pillars. And that's not enough, because on each side something, either industrial air conditioners, or a mess, or chairs and tables straight from a pub. There is no access to the interior. Nearby is the Wielkopolska Landscape Park, or Rogalin. Better to go there. And PLN 100 was also collected.
Interesting outdoor place. When the weather is nice, you can spend time outdoors. There are no problems with parking. There are no sidewalks, no cobblestones, only a typical Wiveian idyllic climate, walking on the paths or on the grass, therefore it is worth getting the right footwear while driving there after heavy rain;)
One star is only for the place itself, interesting for children, animals, a queue, a very nice bathing place, clean water, unfortunately the spell breaks after visiting the inn - Stajnia restaurant, the boss, as someone wrote here a year ago, total beetroot, avoid from a distance if you want something eat, after ordering venison with dumplings and noticing that they are undercooked, you cannot stick a fork in them, he went to the middle of the tables and began to tell us that he was serving this dish for the last time because we should order potatoes, and it seemed like it. the customer decides what to eat, from the backward opinion I can see that not the first time this beet shows that it is not quite good as a chef in this place
Where to start :) I greet the Commander-in-Chief, the honorable wife and the team involved. We did not expect such a welcome and hospitality. The character of the Sub-Chamber fits perfectly into the literary / film surroundings. He was a companion for the entire stay and did not let him get bored for a moment. The rooms are clean and comfortable in a beautiful, atmospheric manor, while walking for meals to the inn, you pass a huge orchard of apple trees, courgettes, green and black grapes, sunflowers ... accompanied by equally distinctive geese. Right next to the inn, there are animals that call you, are clearly tame and feel great there. No wonder, I have seen more than once rabbits, geese or horses strolling, falcons fly ... on the way you pass literary buildings ... about which the Pod Chamberlain tells interestingly in a raised voice as if reading fragments of Pan Tadeusz. All this with a sparkling fire before dinner. He made us hungry, and when we entered the stable where the inn is, a richly set table was waiting for us, decorated with grapes, pumpkins and candles from noble tables. It smelled beautiful, and the tables were filled with meat, deer stuffed peppers and other homemade products. It was all delicious. We were there for training and we rested a lot. We would like to thank Mr. Podkomora, my wife for delicious home-made cakes (probably 3 types a day!) And the Service, who perfectly follows all the requirements of a nobleman :) all with a good heart. Have fun and sometimes turn a blind eye when something is longer because there is feasting there and you don't fall for dinner. With us, everything was on time or before. Just before leaving, we visited the lake, which is a stone's throw away. Interesting neighborhood, I had the impression that all the style fit, charming houses and Lake Cichowo. Thank you in my own and on behalf of equally satisfied companions :)
Very nice place as a stop during the trip. A great thing is communing with animals that mostly run around the farm. The boar who lay down to stroke his stomach won our hearts. We went there with a view to spending a long time and eating dinner but unfortunately there is nothing to do there in the long run. Maximum 2 o'clock. Unfortunately this is a lunch but it lowered the rating. We waited for dinner an hour. We went in about 2pm and half of the menu was no longer available and it was Sunday. Regarding the quality of the dishes, unfortunately, they did not go well. Sour rye soup and pepper balls fished out of one bowl 15 !!! For 7 dishes only the boar got a positive opinion. To sum up, it's worth going there for a picnic with your own provisions and spending a moment in the orchard of Pan Tadeusz!
