A piece of greenery (about 2000m2) before the Poviat Starosty in 2018 was called the Square of Independence. There is a lot of car and pedestrian traffic around, so nobody stops here, although there are benches along the pavement. Old spruces and bushes grow on the sides. Grass dominates, with various devices on it: three flagpoles, a K-drone monument (elevation) - geometric figure of Janusz Kapusta. Recently there has also appeared a post with a multimedia device projecting colorful images on the facade of the office.
