A bit of the history of the estate and the park: In 1526, brothers Andrzej and Szczęsny Kawieczyński (Cawyeczynskie) sat in Kawieczyn confirming the privilege for their possessions. The record itself in the Crown Register is very laconic and it is not known whether the brothers had the privilege of these goods or any of their ancestors (since the last of the judges, Mr. Kawęcin, has been noted, almost 40 years have passed to confirm the privilege and there is no mention of the locality during this period). Certainly in 1631 Jan Kaweczyński was also sealed by Ostoja, concluding a contract with Władysław Konopacki about Zalesie, but it was already 150 years after the first appearance of the heirs in Kawęcin.
