Cafe Fajans

I've been to Cafe Fajans probably 4 times, but the last time was so unpleasant that I won't go again. Every time I ordered the same thing - a bubble waffle with whipped cream and fruit, and lemonade. The waffles were always crispy and warm, the cream was whipped and the fruit was fresh. But the last time I ordered them they were cold, soft, soaked with poorly whipped, flowing cream, half of which was not even in the waffle, but in a paper cone that was used to hold the waffle. Of course, it was leaking at the bottom and I got my pants and blouse dirty because there weren't enough napkins to wipe off the dripping cream. In addition, the lemonade tasted somehow strange - as if it was not lemonade but Tymbark apple and mint (I don't know if they actually poured Tymbark as lemonade, but it tasted identical). The person who was with me at the cafe at the time wrote a review on Cafe Fajans Facebook. They stated that they cooled the waffles on purpose (I wonder how it happened that they were always warm, or at least crunchy, and not soft and all wet from practically liquid cream) and asked why she had not written a positive opinion earlier. As if it mattered and changed the fact that they completely spoiled the food they ordered. A smoker place is already a hit. In summer it is hot inside, so you want to eat outside, but of course you can't, because the stench of cigarette smoke is unbearable. People seriously, smoking is harmful not only to the person who smokes, but to everyone around and to the planet. Does this cafe really promote smoking? Why? So that clients die of cancer and don't come again? Isn't it better to make a smoking ban on the entire premises? It would be healthier and nicer for everyone.

The best waffles, good ice cream and coffee, great location, the view of the Vistula, very nice. I am waiting for warm days to be there again.

We tried a bubble waffle with whipped cream and fruit - delicious cake, but the content was medium - sour fruit + unsweetened and whipped cream, not too sweet for a dessert. Maybe they would be better with chocolate ... There was a bit of confusion when placing orders, we didn't get everything at once. On the plus side, a very nice garden with a view of the Vistula River 👍🙂
