First of all, this area is extremely valuable in terms of botanical conditions, one of the most valuable in the Kaczawskie Mountains and nearby, but very neglected. Extremely valuable orchid beech forests are threatened by the lack of any form of protection, and very valuable turf at the bottom of the excavation - by overgrowing trees and vandals arranging fires here. This area should be protected as soon as possible, because the concentration of valuable species found here (in particular orchids) is simply incredible. He could be included in the "Sudety Beeches". Visitors for geological forms will also not regret having visited this place.

A closed quarry consisting of excavation A (50.939939, 16.037838), excavation B (50.938592, 16.041431) and excavation C (50.938430, 16.040020). Limestone excavated here was burnt in lime kilns behind the Roch Brewery. Excavation C has gentle walls and is mostly free of trees. On the crowns of excavations, there are traces of opencasts, in excavation B it has fairly low walls and is rarely overgrown with trees, excavation A has the steepest walls and also the most interesting rock excavations, in addition it reminds the most, when visiting, you need to take into account the numerous population of ticks.
