Park that is part of the palace complex. Unfortunately, just like the nearby palace, it is in a terrible, forgotten condition. Lots of weeping, problems with the transition between them and the glass from beer bottles. Currently, a den and a place to live for a whole lot of ducks living in several ponds. I advise against visiting after dark.
Always some greenery in the urban area will be useful.
This is not a city park but a city square
Too many meniscs and gimbus
The park could already exist at a time when Krośniewice belonged to the Gomoliński family, who had their headquarters here and probably cared about the appearance of the surroundings. In its present shape, the park was founded and maintained a hundred and several dozen years by the Rembieliński family. In the 1860s, he was surrounded by a wall, over two meters high, by Pelagia Rembielińska, Aleksander's wife.
The park's current composition has probably been created in several stages that can be seen today. The park was probably founded at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries on the initiative of Agnieszka Opacka, the first wife of Rajmund Rembieliński and the owner of Krośniewice until 1817. However, fragments of the stand may come from an earlier period. This is indicated especially by the two rows of trees in front of the palace, reminiscent of traces of the French garden. The shape of the Krosno park can be found characteristic of romantic assumptions, this is evidenced primarily by the park's water elements, formed in a manner characteristic of this style. An artificial island with an irregular shoreline, with a romantic channel surrounding it surrounded by coastal vegetation and a bridge connecting the island with the clearing in front of the palace, create a romantic atmosphere. The winding paths on the island led to secluded retreats. Two ponds located in the park are connected by a channel.
The second pond, which was created later as a result of widening the water supply channel, also has an irregular edge. A characteristic feature of the nineteenth century gardens was the combination of landscape and geometric systems. The road layout is not typical for a landscape complex, however. From the preserved fragments of maps from the period of the Kingdom of Poland, it can be stated that the roads in the park were straight so as to create quick and convenient connections with destinations.
There are no walking paths preserved in the Krosno park. Due to the wetland, especially in the southern part of the park, walks took place along a circular hornbeam avenue running along
