Popping in for a late lunch, we felt like an imposition asking to be seated for a meal. We would have understood if the kitchen needed to close between the lunch and dinner peak however we were shown into the restaurant and so didn't think it was an issue. The service is extremely poor and there is a distinct difference between how the locals are treated and how tourists are treated. The waitress bustled between the tables, angrily pushing in chairs and plonking down our food without any warm offering. We ordered the codfish and pork cutlets. Servings are generous in size but the dishes were overcooked and lacked freshness. We were unaware there was a charge for the bread, cheese and accompaniments and so when given the bill were surprised by how much it cost. Overpriced and underwhelming. What seems like a family run restaurant could do with an overhaul to take advantage of the tourism generated by the area.
