Cafe PINTO

Just called in for a coffee. Lots of locals outside enjoying a drink and a chat! Lovely to see a little normality in our crazy world just now! Looking forward to calling in for lunch another day.

The owner went out of his way to help some lost travellers (us). They were closed, but made coffee for us, and let us buy some ice creams for the kids...then spent 30 minutes helping us with restaurants etc., And navigation. Looks like a fun spot, which we will definitely return to in the next week.

Located inside the same building as the restaurant known as cavaleiros which is pretty much all you can eat lunch special for about 8 euro which includes drink, your choice of meat or fish platter with sides, fruit and coffee. The restaurant is very popular with locals and gets very busy so get there early and it will probably help if you speak Portuguese.

Very casual and comfortable atmosphere. Great vibe and service. If you're looking for that old town feel definitely come for a visit

Round the BACK of Cafe Pinto is - Restaurant Pinto - Local and Traditional Home cooking. Unpretentious, rustic and extrememly good value. Great for fish, always fresh. Nice friendly people. Highly recommended
