Very friendly service and tasty food. Manuel was extremely professional and explained the menu and provided advice and recommendations. Very good quality vs value. Highly recommend.

Easily my favourite restaurant in the area. I ate here on a Thursday and made a second reservation for Saturday that same night. I’ll likely go again tomorrow on Sunday as I leave Tuesday and they’re closed Mondays. The squid is perfection, the sardines grilled amazingly. The chocolate mousse a perfect finish to the meal with a glass of port. I can not recommend this place enough and I have been disappointed a few times on my trip. I am not easy to please all the time but Borges exceeded my expectations. The service is lovely and the staff are patient and kind. Make the trip to this small town to eat here. Eat the squid. You will give up on every other restaurant in the area and want to spend every night here.

Lovely We had a great day and were looking for some nice seafood and fish, so decided to go to Borges Excellent choice We had a very warm welcome from Manuel who then explained their main courses for today. We had a shared platter for 2 as starters which was fantastic and seafood pasta as well as the Dourada as mains... Very nice food We have made a new reservation for the next day right away :-) Looking forward to enjoying cataplana tomorrow
