Hospital Particular do Algarve - Gambelas - Faro - Grupo HPA Saúde

Both my husband and myself have experienced both the Emergency Department and the general health care and we can both assure everyone that the professionalism and expertise and care is second to none. My husband suffered from a Cardiac Arrhythmia 18 months ago and he was treated and looked after so well. Now with Dr Hugo Café's on-going support, he is well on the road to recovery. Thanks as well to Luis Costa working in the administration for the Cardiac Dept. Also, I would like to thank Dra Rita Marcel for her help and support to me personally. Of course thank you too, for all of the other people who provide support throughout the hospital.

Awful experience, this hospital took over €400 from me and didn’t give me my critical test results. I paid €425 for a Down syndrome pregnancy test. I was assured I would receive the results in time for a termination. I didn’t receive the results until I had far exceeded this date making them completely useless to me. Leaving me unsure of the health of my baby throughout my pregnancy. I called, emailed, drove to the HPA hospital countless times to try and get refunded. Although this is no help to the health of my child I feel at the very least I should be refunded. It has been 4 months of wasted time on my part and I have had very little response.

I was operated in 2018 October 8 and the doctor sad it was a succés and all pain will be gone in a couple of weeks and my sense will be back with in a year or so. But I am still in pain and it have gotten worse and my sense are not back after more then 2 years so now I have to se another Doctor again this is a big problem for me since I now can not sleep because of the pain in the aria where i was operated in so I will not recommend this Hospital to any one.

My wife has just given birth here by C section and I would like to say( as a critic) that the service and professionalism has been amazing. Very well done!

Terrible hospital. Do not go there. Went to the ER Patients are left alone in their bed rooms, the nurses don’t pay attention: they don’t even give them water. It’s a shame.
