Had a wonderful and truly refreshing experience being with nature, away from the city life and within driving distance from some of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Portugal

Great welcome and interesting morning with bird ringing demonstration and viewing of moths captured during the previous night. Refreshments served in the garden with only a suggestion of leaving a donation.

Laid back operation near Alvor. Go there Thursday mornings to see them band birds that are residents or migrating through Portugal. Learn about moths and join others for coffee or tea and cake. Two lowkey hours well spent.
