Alvor Boat Trips

Had a great day out with captain Luis and Michele. They were very kind and we caught lots of different fish and also a couple squid. Really fun day out. We took some fish to the A Ribeira restaurant nearby who then cooked it for us. I filleted the remainder of the fish and cooked it a day later.

A well organized fishing charter to coastal areas between Lagos and Portions. The bottom fishing was a motivating appetizer. We catch dozens a breams, sardines and one long fish. The main aim, trolling to gig game, took 2,5 hour but we had no luck. 3 rod in the water, but no bait. Next time!

We’ve taken 2 boat trips with Alvor Boat Trips and thoroughly enjoyed both. Our first was an afternoon river cruise up to Silves and our guide was excellent - full of information and very accommodating and considerate. Our second was a 2 hour fishing trip and we had great fun and got to bring home our dinner!! Other companies may be slightly cheaper for some excursions but Alvor Boat Trips are the best in our experience. Thanks!

Had an amazing day today 11/07/2019. Took a boat trip to see caves and grottoes WOW !! Beautiful sights to see. Boat captain was fantastic and explained everything to us,even though we were the only English on board. Thank you so much for making my birthday special.

What a great day out. We took the speed boat tour along and through the caves of the coastline in the afternoon and then did the evening cruise at night to see the sunset from the water. A thrilling power ride by day and a slow cruise at night with champagne and canopies. A bit chilly at night so wear something warm. A Great way to spend your day and night.
