We spent a weekend at Sotam House. This is a beautiful place to be at if you’re looking for relax. This house is surrounded by nature, quiet, and wonderful people. I’ve to say that one of the best things was meeting the owner. He’s a very nice person always checking up on you to make sure you’re having best time ever in Portugal. Plus he baked our breakfast; fresh homemade bread and delicious (homemade)jam.... A big thank you to the owner, he made us feel like at home and was friendly all the time with our dog 🐶. If we have the opportunity to come back, we will stay here for sure.

Great spot. Affable English speaking host Joao who bakes fresh croissants daily. Cozy and warm in the wood-heated living room. Lovely walks in the little village. A friendly kitty hangs out in the wood shed. Room a bit cramped and never enough hooks and hangers. Overall excellent. Oh, also fresh squeezed orange juice, but don't expect bacon and eggs or fresh fruit.
