The fish did not have any spices whatsoever, it was just 'cooked'. Ice Cream was more Frozen water, I did not enjoy it.

We were weary travelers, too late for lunch but too early for dinner when we stumbled upon this restaurant. They could have told us to come back when they opened at 7 pm but instead they welcomed us in and we selected grilled chicken which was very flavorful and moist, served with salad, fried potatoes, and rice. We started with delicious cabbage soup. Very satisfying food, well prepared, friendly service, and favorable prices. Obrigada!

Excellent authentic food! Great wine, fresh salad, organic soup, organic beef veal steak, fresh sea bass, sparkling wine, home made dessert!!!!! Wonderful price!! We went there two evenings in a row~~ friendly staff :)

The food itself is relatively decent, if standard Portuguese fare. Alheira, arroz de pato, vitela, sort of thing. The prices were a touch on the high side - about 8 euros a plate, when six or seven is what I would expect. The problem is basically the service. It wasn't particularly busy when we were there, yet it took over an hour for our food to arrive. I think they only had one person on in the kitchen, and as we were hungry and had small children, the wait was interminable. When the food did arrive, some of the sides (rice and chips) were lukewarm to cold. The quality of the rest was ok - as I said - pretty standard. Chatting to friends about it later, they had had a similar experience in terms of the wait. Overall, probably won't be going back anytime soon, and probably only as a last resort, and only in situations where we have enough entertainment to occupy both us and the children.

I eat here regularly once or twice per week. The food is always tasty and wholesome, and the menu rich and varied. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is beautifully clean and spacious. I heartily endorse Teia to you.
