We've tried several places in Figueira (and there is a lot of competition), but for us this is the best - delicious home-made food and always a warm welcome.

Last year we went twice out of 4 possible nights to this restaurant in this city, as the food, price, quality and quantity were all there. Do not trust the first impression the owner can leave (he greeted us by warning us that there was no more bread, even before a hello or that we had time to sit down, lol , so we had a little doubt if he really wanted our presence). But in the end, after some discussions with him, we discovered a charming, simple, kind and helpful gentleman, who received us very well and gave us advice. He and his wife prepare delicious home cooking with fresh, quality products. We especially liked the grilled octopus plate. But everything we ordered was good (grilled skate, lamb, etc.). He even offered us out of pure kindness a good glass of port at the end of the meal. The wines offered are also of good quality and at a good price. Do not trust the menu on their website which is not up to date (I went there mainly for deer or wild boar but they did not have on site). I highly recommend this place, a must to eat really good typical Portuguese cuisine.

Um espaço onde o bom gosto e bons produtos não engana ninguém. Simples bom e prático. Adorei o acompanhamento do peixe assim como o conteúdo da salada. A visitar converterá.
