Fine list of options/restaurants to enjoy lunch or dinner. Pizza/pasta, vegetarian, meat, seafood, ... you name it, at walking distance from the train station, hotels and hostels located in the center of Cascais. Huge parking lot, provides easy parking although paid.

I love the Mercado! It's a weekly Wednesday visit! Even in these weird Covid times, the fruit, veg, flowers, eggs, olives, cheese etc. are a delight. Good handwashing & mask wearing protocols, fresh produce & a good local feel including coffee spots & restaurants. The fresh fish market is right there too. What's not to love! There's a whole selection of clothes, household goods, shoes etc. alongside. An excellent morning out. Recommended!

Nice place to get food , cheap and fresh..

Great local fruit and veg market. Only open til 2 pm Wed and Sat. Although there are little food booths and restaurant s to eat. There is a booth that sells home made breads

I've written about the market before had a good experience but times were different. With the current limitations to its capacity you can truly understand how it can be a real good spot to hangout with friends. You want to avoid Wednesdays unless you mean to buy fresh produce, it gets a bit loud. Finally, if you are looking for some good fresh fish, this is THE place to be.
