Apartamentos Regina

Great location. Great simple spacious studio apartment in a lovely old building with a nice quiet atmosphere. Great for a small family. Beds were firm and comfortable. Cooking facilities with a powerful extractor fan so no leftover food smell. The only down side was having to scrub the shower and bathroom before use because they were a bit grotty. After a deep clean, it was fresh and like new. The bathroom is actually quite new. I brought this to the receptionist attention and I believe she spoke to the cleaners about it. Beds can be changed on demand and studio cleaned daily. The receptionists, Zu and her colleague, were friendly and helpful. If you are arriving late, make sure to contact them before travelling to make arrangements for apartment number and keys; they go home in the evening. I did as we were due to arrive after midnight, and Zu had set everything up for us. We had a fabulous time and are planning to return.

Booked and paid for before arrival. Arrived and there was no apartment for us, put us in the sister hotel for 1 night, didn't offer to take our luggage to the hotel, had to find our own way there, staff and manager didn't seem to think it was a problem that they didn't have our apartment. When we got our apartment the next day, it wasn't the best. The tap in the bathroom would barely work, AC was blowing out hot air. We also got accused of something when we weren't even in the building, thought that was pretty rude. Wasn't going to leave bad review but I'm still waiting to be contacted about the complaint left.

Nice pool on roof beds a bit to hard

Going to be honest, the other reviews are correct. The rooms are very dated, and they really do need a full overhaul. But, you do get what you pay for. If you're only after a basic place to rest your head for the night, then it's perfect for that. Just don't expect to be 'wowed'. We only booked for 1 night, and for £35, it was cheap & easy. Would I stay there for a week? No chance. Would I stay for a night? Yes.

Very nice place good aprtment u have there all u need for excellent stay. Very nice staff. Super location close to all tourist spot at the middle of old town. Amaizig highly recommend. Obrigadon
