Terrible service + expensive for scooter rental. Called to book a scooter for three days and told when I was coming on a Thursday only to realise when I arrived that the store was closed. Incredibly difficult to arrange getting the scooter so ended up getting it for only one day. Received the scooter with half tank. When I returned it they even took €10 from my refund since they had to wire it. First and last time.

Great except they wanted me to wash the bike at the end because of some sand, which was annoying I would have just rather paid a fee

Ordered a scooter for 3 days which was due to returned on a Sunday afternoon; however we flew back on a Sunday morning. The shop keeper told us to come on Saturday 5:30pm instead. This was fine by us and we planned our last day around returning the scooter, only to get there and realise the shop closed early, after calling the owner he said he could not come and had gone home and I would have to post the keys and my credit card details to get the deposit back. This also reinforces the BS of free pick up and drop off, we had to walk back 45mins to get back to our hotel because of this. Although I ultimately got my deposit back this is clearly shocking customer service which wasted our time and manipulated our plans. I would come to Portugal again but would go to another scooter company.

I booked a scooter from Algarve Riders on-line this summer. The process was very easy and clear with available many different payment methods. The communication with the office was very good. They offered me pick-up and drop-off service from my room and to the bus station of Lagos. The price is also quite good and the service is great! The overall experience was excellent. I totally recommend Algarve riders!
