Rocha da Pena

Need decent outdoor boots, even in Winter take plenty of water. Stunning views. I'm glad I walked up from Rocha da Penna. Some parking spaces there and soon on the top. Going East is quieter.. retrace steps going sort of anti clockwise. The wall of the Moors needs care over the the loose boulders but worth the reaching the North End Cairns for the views. The trail soon disappears here. Retrace and get back on the path that hugs the cliff line for great views.

Lovely walk, very quiet, and once you get up the top the viewpoints in north and south provide a great outlook.

Very peaceful place with some nice routes that you'll have to figure out how to find.

Lovely hill walk, on and around a rock outcrop. Great views and a nice little bar next to the car park.
