Fonte de Paderne

Abit of local history and still in use today with collecting water for local people using water tanks on vehicles. Dried up at areas where locals use to do their washing using scrubing boards. Plenty of parking and easy to find from the main road Fererias (Albufeira) to Paderne on the right.

The area was nice. Picnic area and toilets. Locals using the fonts to fill up their tanks, I assume to water their land as it indicates not drinking water.

Very pleasant and quiet. A natural and old fashion laundry place.

Nice place to have a overnight stay if you are campervaning or just have a piknik with the family.
