€6 mozzarella salad was literally just a sliced tomato with some mozzarella, no spices, no lettuce or sauce. Pork was nice (some parts raw though)

Nice well prepared traditional Alentejo food, ambient is nice and the food tasty. Service can be a bit slow though. Not sure if it was because we were in a large group, but it took a while and the dishes did not arrive all at the same time.

Liguei à hora de almoço num domingo a reservar para essa noite pelas 20:30. Ia de viagem do Algarve para Lisboa. Atrasei-me e liguei a perguntar se poderia chegar às 22h, disseram que sim. Mesmo assim atrasei-me mais e liguei a dizer que chegaria apenas pelas 22:40 isto a um domingo, e a senhora disse para ir que ficavam lá à nossa espera. Chegamos às 22:40, não existiram quaisquer restrições no atendimento disseram que poderíamos pedir o que quiséssemos! Comemos e bebemos bem, excelente atendimento e nunca nos fizeram sentir um estorvo apesar da hora tardia a que chegámos e com o restaurante vazio! Comida deliciosa! Os meus parabéns e muito obrigado!

We were in Portugal for five days and in many restaurants. The food here was by far the best. It is definitely worth a visit.
