Restaurante TASKA DA SU

Pulled in by the €7 menu we decided to have dinner at this restaurant, shortly after we got served with the worst food we have had in the country during our trip. Simply insulting. You could taste the absence of love in these meals We were expecting GAZPACHO and instead we received a dish with chopped tomatoes, onion, pepper and sausage, all floating in some kind of canned water. DISGUSTING TASTE. We also ordered LOMBO NO FORNO, again an extremely depressing and disappointing meal. The meat didn't even tasting like pork, it was actually "PICKEN TORK" (kinda pig, kinda chicken, kinda turkey, but definitely no pork!) with a really bad tasting rice and homeless French fries... We do not recommend this place in any way for any budget. Save your money. The cheap price will actually double, because you will certainly leave still hungry and end up having to buy something else. The astro turf under cheap plastic lawn furniture inside should have clued us in but we were hungry and temporarily distracted. If you feel like being assaulted by bad taste proceed otherwise stay faraway from this culinary nightmare. The real question is: Why is the "Chef" so angry at the world?

None of the toilets had working locks. Long waiting times during lunch hours. Meals were cooked well though.

Fixed price menu available at 6,50 euros. It can get very busy around lunch time.

Smells of cigarettes.

Francesinha como especialidade deixa muito a desejar. Fraco molho, pão de forma desfeito e lombo de porco seco em vez de bife de porco ou vitela, batatas quase enexistentes... Um sítio que evitarei futuramente.
