Intermarché Serpa

Little small shop but with the most important things.

Very nice town

Good supermarket with a little cafe with fresh baked patisserie items. But it needs to be refurbished, it is looking a bit sad.

Supermarkets in Portugal are not very inspiring. The best are proably Lidl and Intermarche Lidl is the cheapest but Intermarche has the best range of goods and often sells petrol This one also has a launderette with 2 washing machines, one 4kilo and the other 8 kilo and a tumble dryer The big washer worked fine for me but the dryer failed to work and stole my 4 euros and the enquiries desk inside was very busy with only one girl who only spoke Portuguese and i speak English or French or a little Spanish only so i left with wet washing and without my euros.
