We used this tour group for 3 different trips on Madeira Island and were pleased with all of them.Tour guide Lino was knowledgable and provided a nice experience. Our guide Joe was outstanding. He stopped for numerous photo opportunities and pointed out many plants that we would have missed without his attention.

I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD!!!! AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!!! We were supposed to take a ferry to Porto Santo and our hotel booked it through this agency. Despite the brochure stating that we could cancel outside of 12 hours, they refused to refund us. They were incredibly rude on the phone and stated that the brochure was a misprint and we shouldn't have received "that brochure" as it was only for certain hotels. As a tourist, I assume the brochure I'm given in my room is correct and I was thoroughly disappointed not only with their incompetence and rudeness, but with how the entire situation was handled. Madeira is beautiful—go explore it!! But take a tour with another company. There are plenty of other tour agencies and we were thrilled with the two others that we used!!! MB TRAVEL TAKES ADVANTAGE OF TOURISTS—CHOOSE SOMEONE ELSE!!!

Our experiences were excellent, from airport transfers to three excursions. The guides spoke very good English and were very knowledgeable. There were some last-minute hitches but nothing that detracted from the trips. However the levada walk guide was a grumpy Mourinho-type and it was a bit of a route march.
