Perhaps the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. A very large group of people partied until 4 am in the hotel. There also seemed to be a late night motor cycle race going on right outside. Needless to say, the noise is not well isolated. While it is fully transparent that the hotel is a ways outside the center of Coimbra, one should be aware that it is basically impossible to walk anywhere from the hotel - no sidewalks, just busy roads. Otherwise, it was clean and the service was perfectly friendly. No complaints about the staff. Also - it does have a nice view.

Confortable bed, reasonable breakfast, good value for the price. Room floor could be cleaner but overall it was clean.

On the first night after a long drive from Madrid...we just wanted a hot shower and off to bed however we were met with brown water and a shower that did not work then to make matters worse the place had a musty smell...thank god it was a one night stay then on to another hotel the next day. However it has a great view and the food was good so it sort of made up for everything else.

Beautiful view overlooking the city. Room comfortable. Food good. Staff terrific.
