Pensão Vista Bela

Don't be put off by somehow outdated rooms and bathroom. The rooms are large and have balconies with stunning views over the river and the old Town. The owner are the epitome of niceness! Just be aware that it's a 3 floor building and there is no elevator. Ask for a 1st floor room if you have any difficulty with climbing the stairs. Parking is on the street and not a problem. The car access to the hotel is also very easy.

Perfect affordable, clean and spacious hotel room with a fantastic view of the dam's reservoir, old town and church run by a lovely man. Check out Douro Pula Canhada for a canoe trip if your looking for something to do the next day.
