Caballos Marvão

This is an amazing experience to discover the wilderness horseback riding Marvão. A beautiful 2 hours guided horse ride in this beautiful wilderness in the no man’s land between Portugal and Spain. Our whole family had a wonderful time, parents and the 3 kids age 9, 12 and 14. Thank you to our guides, Sara and José.

Sara and Bruno from Caballos Marvao took myself and my wife for a five hour ride through the beautiful and dramatic Portuguese and Spanish borderlands. I don't know if I will ever have such a beautiful afternoon ever again, and after a short time it felt like riding with friends. We can't wait to go back and spend some more time with the lovely and well cared for horses

We went for a one hour ride and our guide, Sara, was great! The Alentejo is beautiful and is was nice to see it from horseback. They are able to accommodate riders of different experience (including none at all).

Sara and the horses took great care of us. Met the family. Beautiful ride through beautiful countryside. Do yourself a favor and go.
