All i can say is that Belver... even if we see it as one small place of the Portuguese interior... but whitout sure it's one of the most incredible places of Portugal... starting by the very rare and unique landscapes... till the umbelly clima persuit fot the unique and very gentel people... and we could'nt forgot... never the gastronomic potential. So if you like nature; good food... and uniques landscapes... came and visit us. Belive me you will not be desapointed in any way. Kind regards from (also) one kind of local visitor.

Alto lugar da Ordem de São João do Hospital, atestado pelo seu castelo que estaria concluído em 1210. Apresenta uma torre de menagem de 22m de altura no centro de um anel circular de muralhas, defendidas por quatro torreões quadrangulares e dois bastiões semi circulares.
