Incredible! Drive through exquisite countryside of cork forests, wild flowers and old olive trees, open a farm gate and drive onto a private farm to see this stunning Neolithic funerary structure estimated to be 8000 years old. No-one understands yet how our primitive ancestors managed to move these rocks, nor how they arranged them to capture sunlight at their entrance on the summer solstice, nor how or why they positioned them to line through astronomically with other such structures in other locations. I found this a breathtaking, almost sacred experience.

Unique place. The most curious is that you open yourself the fence and can get in with your car. Then drive for 3 minutes and have the temple only for you.

Não se intimidem com o portão, é só ter cuidado para o fechar por causa das vacas. A anta é volumosa.
