Church Santa Maria

One of the many churches in the Obidos area. Fairly small, but there's some interesting Catholic enshrined. Just remember to not use flash when photographing and to be mindful of people praying. There's a 50 Euro tithe for anyone who wants to light a candle. A fair nomination to support the church.

Beautiful place where you can find some of the very first " Manueline " Portuguese Gothic. - The place had some reconstructions, forward and backwards... but, to me ... the magic stills there.

Nice church! You will have better view from below. Must ask about the access to the Church, they closed the door when im coming there

Igreja de Santa Maria is a beautiful small church in the middle of Óbidos. We love the beautiful tile work and paintings inside. It dates back to the 16th Century and has quite a bit of history within that small church.

Looks simple, but the inside is quite nice
