One of my favourite place, cosy, comfy, good wine and friendly staff!

We were lucky to find this restaurant after a rainy day in Obidos! The restaurant is located next to the accompanying hotel 'the literate man' few steps outside the citywalls. The ambience was really nice, a spacious, well lit dining room surrounded by bright bookshelves. The service was very tentative and we never had to wait. A guitar player played some quiet songs in the background. As for food and drinks we can really recommend the Prawns and the gin tonics.

Charming place with friendly staff! I tried the cod and was delicious ☺️👏🏻, my husband and my friend tried the shrimp both were tasty, but the shrimp was overcooked.

Fantastic experience, lovely atmosphere, great food and wine. Live music, romantic setting, very friendly service
