ibis Faro Algarve

We were looking for a 1 night stay before leaving via Faro airport in the early morning. The Ibis hotel was for us a perfect choice. Clean, nearby the airport, not too expensive. Small rooms, but that was expected.

Minutes from the airport. Good pool. Late bar. Ideal.

Decent 2* option. Small Lego land rooms but nice pool. Not central - near airport and shopping centre - but only a 10 min drive to town

A hortible hotel. Service and facilities are really poor. They close the pool between 1 and 2pm apparently for cleaning but in reality a cleaner comes for only 5 mins to inspect, doesn't do much. Barely any choice for breakfast. In the middle of nowhere. No lunches or dinner. Unpleasant stuff members. Pool toilets permanently closed... Ugly building.

A little run-down, soulless. Very friendly front desk. The AC works (barely), but the room size is small. I didn't find the bed comfortable. They allow pets, which is a big plus for some. No compelling reason to return.
