A big thanks to Miguel and his team. Not just generous with time, information and knowledge, but also bringing great joy and enthusiasm to his audience. Its fascinating to see what can be achieved with dedication in just a couple of years. Will be very interesting to revisit in a couple of years. A big thanks Miguel! will contact you.

Fantastic plant laboratory with a lot of information and technics to learn how to growth properly different types of plants... And the icing on the cake is that you can taste your work! (if it's ready of course) So, really worth it for some hours or weeks to nourish your soul or your body!

I stayed and worked with Miguel for a couple of days (or was it weeks? It went by really quickly.) and had good fun participating in the implementation of the "Pomar dos sabores". It's a lovely place and Miguel is a fantastic host, generous with his time, knowledge and hospitality. I warmly recommend a visit there.

We had an inspiring tour through this edible fruit garden after making a quite spontaneous appointment with Miguel, who is a Permaculture teacher. He is enthusiastic about this project, showed us some exotic species, how they where planted, what they would need, different structures and elements being used in the garden to retain water, provide shade or create suitable microclimate, ... thanks a lot! By the way: You can volunteer at his place and there will be workshops (currently on-hold due to covid). Check out the website including a database with all the planted species!

While staying in Estoi, Algarve with friends we quite accidentally stumbled upon this treasure when searching or a botanical garden. What a gem! Miquel is a great host on a mission. He is a very good story teller and can covey his enthousiasm about bringing edible (sub) tropical plants to the Algarve as no other. If you are remotely interested in the subject, this is a MUST VISIT. We even got some seedlings to bring home and plant them in Amsterdam. Looking forward to see if they catch on here. Thx for the tour!
