Don't waste your time and money here. Language barrier plus poor medical knowledge.

Sorry to post this, I always try to be positive about experiences. However, when I enter an International Clinic, I expect the doctor to speak English or French. The lady at reception spoke better English than the doctor, who stated immediately that his English was little. I told him that I had been in the emergency unit of Gambelas hospital Faro the previous day. He didn't understand what I was seeing him for. High blood pressure, I required altered medication, and he was surprised that the doctor in A&E had not prescribed me any. Am I wrong to assume that for a prescription one goes to a treating GP? Anyway I will not be visiting this clinic again.

We experienced a misdiagnosed, serious foot injury. Month later found out it needed surgery. My son was called a 'wuss' for complaining about nothing. I believe it was disgraceful behaviour by the doctor and borderline incompetency. Not just a waste of 55 Euro but also a waste of time.

Bad. They don't answer the phone. Then my wife made an appointment with a rheumatologist who took 75 Euros (she does not take the MULTICARE card). She barely auscultated him and although my wife told her that she was taking an anti-epileptic drug she prescribed completely incompatible drugs. When we wanted to go see her again between two appointments she refused to receive us saying that we had to make a new appointment and pay 75 Euros again.
