After the cable car ride and before or after your tour the botanical gardens you have this cafe offering food and drinks. Drinks were ok and we had the local garlic bread which was tasty. Clean and tidy no frills, but the outdoor seating offers excellent views down to Funchal, lovely spot to enjoy some sustenance. If you do not like the small local lizards then beware, there lots of them and they are not shy! Leave a bag on the floor and you might pick up an unexpected passenger.
