Estádio dos Barreiros

Estádio do Marítimo is a football stadium in Funchal, Portugal. It is the home stadium of Club Sport Marítimo and although much larger in its hey-day, the stadium can now hold 10,932 spectators. The old stadium itself was rather distinctive in design and shape.

Surprised under 16 had to pay but once inside understood why, very poor turnout. Despite that was still a good day out

Tipic English stadium. Small but cosy. Lousy bar servixe due to short of staff.

Last game of the season 2018 v Sporting Lisbon. Maritimo win with 90 min goal 2-1. Me and some Portuguese kid going absolutely mental. Beer prices are good, has a local club feel to the place. Mixed fans except Lisbon ultras having their own stand.

Great little ground with a fantastic atmosphere!
